4️⃣ 1:1 teaching
- 🎯 main goal: offer personalized attention and coaching through 1:1 video calls
- 💰 how to price:
- 1:1 classes, while common, are less scalable so position them as mid to high ticket items ($25-75/class) to reflect the personalized value you provide.
- ✅ how to use/examples:
- classes are 45 mins, with a 15-min built in break between classes. your well-being matters to us! 💚
- note: we will be adding more time options very soon (15, 30 and 60 minute classes)
- teach via heartbeat’s voice & video room, or use google meet or zoom—your choice!
- customize booking, refund, and cancellation policies.
- 🤿 deep dive:
- time to set up: approx. 5 mins.
- top tips:
- it’s very easy to sell yourself expertise short given the market saturation on most language marketplaces.
- think of 1:1 coaching as a premium offering, perfect for specific student outcomes—don’t let it dominate your schedule.
- use 1:1 sessions to build lasting student relationships, which can lead to further engagement and referrals.
