at somos, we believe that language learning should be a fun and enjoyable experience. that's why we've built a marketplace where great language teachers can create and sell live courses to eager, dedicated students like you!
however…. we recognise that sometimes things happen and you may want a refund on your course purchase.
how refunds work at somos
- language teachers are independent sellers on somos.
- they set their own course prices and refund policies on a course-by-course basis.
- you can see these on every course listing in the marketplace to ensure transparency before you buy!
- each one will tell you:
- the last date you can ask your teacher for a refund,
- how much of your course price you can claim back.
where + how to ask for a refund
you can ask your teacher for a refund via your dashboard in the somos marketplace app.
just complete the form and both your teacher and the somos team will be notified of your request.

we want to make sure that your language learning journey is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. if there's ever an issue with a course, just reach out to us and we'll do our best to make it right!

we reserve the right to remove students from our courses without a refund if they breach our community guidelines.
