at somos, we believe that language learning should be a fun and enjoyable experience. that's why we've built a platform where great language teachers can create and sell live classes to eager, dedicated students like you!
however…. we recognise that sometimes things happen and you may want a refund on your purchase.
✨ how refunds work at somos
- language teachers are independent sellers on somos.
- they set their own prices, refund, booking and cancellation policies.
- you can see these on their profiles to ensure transparency before you buy!
- each one will tell you:
- the last date you can ask your teacher for a refund,
- how much of the pruchase price you can claim back.
📍 where + how to ask for a refund
you can ask your teacher for a refund via the transactions section of your profile.
just complete the form and both your teacher and the somos team will be notified of your request.
📬 communicating with us + your teacher
we want to make sure that your language learning journey is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
if there's ever an issue with your teacher, please communicate with them in the first instance but if we can help, we will! just reach out to us and we'll do our best to make it right!
